and about wiring :
when you finish building
we should test the printer:
at first we could mount the promixity switch.
Simply, You could mount it like this: (you can download a holder to print for this sensor too.)
connect your printer to your computer
setupRepetierHost_1_5_4.exe (refer to the file link)
connect your printer to computer.
COM number according to your own number. (refer to pic below)
COM number according to your own number, Baud rate: 115200
Choose shape: (bed size according your own order)
And define the nozzle number
test movement of all axis
"Go home" cammand
then, test heat system
then, test extruder movement.
B how to print
1) What file
the file that the printer could print is *.gcode.
and *.stl could convert to *.gcode
so, if you want to print some model.
you should have a *.stl file.
then. we use software convert it to gcode.
(a) printer use one nozzle.
we take the repetier as an example.
Refer to pic below
you can choose slicing software. (here , we use slice3r)
After this. We can slice a *.stl file now
Then, we can print now
Tip: when you print, the distance between nozzle and plate should be 0.3mm or so, if the distance is too big, the structure would be loose too, the total shape would be effected.
(b) using triple nozzles.
When you try to printer using three nozzles together.That should be three parts of *.stl together. So, the three nozzles could cooperate together. Method like this:
Combine three parts of *.stl . (using slicer.exe, this file refer to the files link. )
Refer to pic below,(this is a part of whole pic, the whole picture refer to the attachment file. “tri-color-test-for beginer.jpg”)
The pic above is about how to combine three *.stl files to one object that printer will print.
Before you start print.
We should sett the two nozzle off set here
The following Numbers for the default value, you can adjust as your own printer, (80steps for 1mm)
After Offset set up, and combined object, you can print that by two nozzles together.
After all these process, we could officially, use this printer now!
